PRINCETON — Imogene V.H. Bishop, 94 formerly of Princeton, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 30, 2009 at Maple Park Village in Westfield.

Born Feb. 28, 1915 in Princeton, she was the daughter of Bert George and Isabelle (Wagner) Hadfield.

She was a professional musician from the 1920’s to 1950’s.

Survivors include a daughter, Jade (Bishop) Smith of Culman, Ala.; son, Dr. Robert H. Bishop of Zionsville; brother, George Hadfield of Nashville, Tenn.; sister, Mary Shelton of Pensacola, FL. five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Glen, Vernon and Jed Hadfield; and sister, Wilma Eck.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. (central) Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2009 at Columbia White Church Cemetery in Princeton. Burial will follow. There will be no public visitation. Colvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
