PRINCETON, Ind. — James A. Dougan age 64, of Princeton, passed away on Monday August 24, 2009, at the Charlier Hospice Center located in Evansville. He was born on May 16, 1945, in Princeton to James and Marjorie (Farrow) Dougan. James was married on November 1, 1980, in Clinton, Tenn., to Rita Hansard. In 1971, James started working at Pacific Press Technologies advancing to Manufacturing Manager in 1986. In 1989, he was again promoted to Area Manager and then to Assembly supervisor in 1996. He then became the Fabrication Supervisor and Group Leader in 1997, retiring in 2006. He loved the outdoors including hunting and fishing and was a member of the Conservation Club, the NRA as well as being the former IAM local #2268 Union President.

James was preceded by his father and daughter-in-law, Melanie Dougan.

Survivors include his wife, Rita, of Princeton; mother, Marjorie Dougan of Princeton. Also surviving are 3 sons, James Dougan of Elberfeld, Ind., Steve Dougan of Allendale, Ill., and Larry Tice of Princeton; a daughter, Jesica Tice of Princeton; and 2 sisters, Delores Donahay and Mary Ann (Johnny) Gorman, both of Princeton. Surviving also are 7 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, August 28, 2009, at Doyle Funeral Home located at 520 S. Main St. Princeton, Ind., with Pastor John Stepp officiating.

Visitation with the family will be today, August 27, 2009, from 2 to 8 p.m. Interment will take place in Columbia White Church Cemetery.
