FORT BRANCH, Ind. — Beatrice (Becky) Lemmons, 84, of River Oaks Health Campus, formerly of Fort Branch, Ind., passed away on Friday, Sept. 4, 2009, at Gibson General Hospital in Princeton, Ind. Becky was born on Dec. 6, 1924, in Jasper, Ind.

She was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Fort Branch, Ind., and volunteered at the parish center.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Lemmons who passed away on Jan. 13, 1992, and 3 brothers, Edward, Norbert and Walter Kuntz.

Becky is survived by her special friends, Linda and Steve Wilzbacher of Haubstadt, Ind.; 2 grandchildren, Corey Wilzbacher and Carrick (Melisa) Wilzbacher; 2 great-grandchildren, Kennedy and Presleigh Wilzbacher; and several nieces and nephews.

A mass of Christian burial will be conducted on Monday, Sept. 7, 2009, at 9:30 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church, with Father Tony Ernst the celebrant, burial will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery in Fort Branch, Ind. Visitation will be on Sunday, Sept. 6, 2009, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Stodghill Funeral Home located on Hwy. 168 West in Fort Branch, Ind., where a Rosary will be recited by the church parish at 7:30 p.m. that evening. The family request that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Holy Cross Catholic Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
