HAUBSTADT, Ind. — Rosalind A. Sensmeier, 90, passed away September 22, 2009 at Gibson General Hospital in Princeton. She was born February 27, 1919, in Haubstadt and resided there her entire lifetime. She was the last surviving child of the late Anthony and Carrie (Kiefer) Kiesel.

Rosalind was a homemaker. She was a lifetime member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, also a member of the Altar Society and St. Bernadette Auxiliary #280. Rosalind enjoyed sewing, quilting, gardening and spending time with her family.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Armon, in 2004; two sisters, Helen Wilhite, in July 2009, and Catherine Memmer; two brothers, John and Wilfred Kiesel and one son-in-law, Greg Barrett, in June 2009.

Rosalind is survived by her four daughters, Patty (Terry) Loewenkamp of Oak Island, N.C.; Judy Barrett of Fort Branch; Carolyn (Jack) Zenthoefer and Sherrie (Terry) Ziegler, all of Haubstadt; 10 grandchildren, Scott Loewenkamp, Debbie Gries, Michelle Taylor, Jennifer Seibert, Mark and Beth Barrett, Brent and Brad Zenthoefer, Melissa Klemeyer and Travis Ziegler; 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian burial will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, with Fr. Tony Ernst as celebrant. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday at Wade Funeral Home, with a rosary service at 7:30 p.m. Friends may also call Saturday from 9 to 9:45 a.m. at the funeral home.
