PRINCETON — Kathleen Barrett, 73, passed away Sunday Sept. 27, 2009 at the Deaconess Hospital in Evansville.

She was born Oct. 4, 1935 in Gibson County to Ivan and Mildred (Garrett) Roberts.

She was a life resident of Gibson County. Kathleen was a hairdresser and owned and operated a beauty shop out of her former home on Warnock Street for many years. She was a member of the Princeton Hairdressers Association and had formerly attended the Enon General Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Pam and Stephen Weber of Princeton; two grandchildren, Leslie Jett of Evansville, Brandi Weber at home; a brother and sister-in-law, Don and Jeanette Roberts of Paducah, Ky.; and two nephews, Dale and Mark Roberts.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Billy Joe Barrett in 1993; and son, Robert Joe Barrett in 1998.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday Sept. 30, 2009 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton with Pastor Tammy Scheller officiating. Burial will be in the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Princeton.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time on Wednesday at the Colvin Funeral Home
