OWENSVILLE — Chester E. McIntire, 66, of Owensville, passed away Tuesday Sept. 8, 2009 at home.

Born Oct. 12, 1942, in Detroit, Ill., he was the son of Arthur and Fannie (Sutton) McIntire.

Survivors include a brother, Frank (Betty) McIntire of Virden, Ill.; and two sisters, Sue (Steve) Huffines of Glasgow, Ky., Peggy McMeans of Jacksonville, Ill.; and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Jeffrey McIntire.
