FORT BRANCH — Jean Romerhausen, 81, of Fort Branch, passed away Sunday, Oct. 4, 2009 at the River Oaks Health Campus in Princeton.

Born Feb. 2, 1928 in Griffin, she was the daughter of Walter and Marcia (McCoy) Griswold.

Jean was a member of the Fort Branch First Presbyterian Church and the Fort Branch Order of the Eastern Star.

Survivors include two children and their spouses, James K. (Angie) Romerhausen of Evansville, Jan (John) Smith of Fort Branch; and four grandchildren, Doug and Nick Romerhausen, and Amy, and Jill Smith.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, James H. Romerhausen on July 13, 1996.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 8, 2009 at Stodghill Funeral Home on Ind. 168 West in Fort Branch, with Dr. James Cramer officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery in Fort Branch.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2009 at the funeral home
