Jackie L. Lewis, 82, passed away on Sunday November 15, 2009 at the Deaconess Hospital in Evansville after a traffic accident. Jackie retired in 1989 from Princeton Farms after 37 years. He then started his own caramel corn business and was the "Karamel Korn King" for the last 25 years. He was a member of the Hillside Methodist Church in Princeton. He also served in the U.S. Navy as a cook. He was a member of the VFW #1147 and the Lions Club.

He was born on
March 18, 1927 in Princeton, In. to David & Mabel (Hartley) Lewis, both deceased. Also preceding him in death was his sister, Joan (Lewis) Hitch.

Jackie is survived by his wife of 56 years, Norma (Miller) Lewis of Princeton; son and daughter-in-law, David & Lori Lewis of
Greencastle, IN; 4 grandchildren, Levi, Elijah, Mabel and Paul Lewis; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held on
Friday November 20, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton with the Rev. Craig Duke officiating. Burial will be at the Columbia "White" Church Cemetery in Princeton, In. Visitation will be from 3 until 8 P.M. on Thursday at funeral home. VFW Post #1147 will provide full military rites at the cemetery.
