Marjorie J. White, 88 of Princeton, Indiana passed away on Thursday, December 10, 2009 at her home. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Princeton. She worked at Sears for 20 years retiring in 1979. Marjorie was a member of the Daughters of Isabella Circle 150 and the V.F.W. 1147 Ladies Auxiliary. She graduated from Patoka High School in 1939.

She was born
August 15, 1921 in Decker, Indiana, to John Duke and Grace (Cary) Manning, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Lester White in 2007, son Patrick in 1952, two sisters and one brother.

Marjorie is survived by her son, Dennis (Joyce) White of Ferdinand, IN; 3 grandchildren, Andrea (Broden) Smith of Lebanon, IN, Katheryn White and Aaron White of Ferdinand, IN; 3 sisters, Dorothy Morrison and Maxine Julian of Princeton and Velta Ann Edrington of Florida.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at
10:00 A.M., Tuesday, December 15, 2009, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with Fr. Ronald Zgunda officiating. Burial will be at the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Princeton. Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. on Monday at Colvin Funeral Home. The Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.
