Helen E. (Gough) Fithian, 93 of Sarasota, FL, passed away at her home on Thursday, December 31, 2009. She was a member of the Southside Baptist Church in Sarasota, FL. She worked at Chrysler Corporation during WWII.

She was born July 23, 1916 in Hazleton, IN, to James V. and Ella (Ennis) Gough, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Edward (Dutch) Fithian in 1976, four brothers Bill, Bob, Ed and Roger Gough.

Helen is survived by her sister-in-law Dee Gough of Princeton, niece Jeanne (Chuck) Winters of Princeton, two great nephews Charlie Winters of Chandler, AZ and Casey Winters of Princeton, IN, and great niece Natalie Winters of Ft. Branch, IN.

Graveside services will be held at 2 P.M. Friday, January 8, 2010 Mt. Olive Cemetery in Mt. Olympus, with the Rev. George Prinzing officiating. Family and friends will meet at Colvin Funeral Home at 1 P.M. to go in procession to the cemetery.
