Donald E. Singleton went home to meet his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, January 2, 2010. Don was born July 19, 1933 in Ft. Branch, IN, the son of Walter and Mildred (Carnahan) Singleton. Don began working for the Lord in 1977 at The Church of God in Princeton and later became a member of Bethel Memorial Church in Princeton and the Masonic Lodge 231.

Don had lived and worked in the
Princeton area most of his life until moving to Haubstadt in 2005. Don was a person who never met a stranger giving him many friends thru out his life, some of which have gone on to meet their maker. Also, preceding Don in death were his parents and a sister Carolyn Sue Singleton Edwards.

Surviving Don is his wife Barbara Edwards Singleton whom he married February 25, 1955 and his children Victoria (Gerald) Collins of Newburgh, IN, Richard Singleton of Denver, CO, Michael (Mechele) Singleton of Evansville, IN, Nicholas (Debbie) Singleton of Owensville, IN; grandchildren Amanda Brown, Jennifer Wilder, Mende Galbraith, Richard Singleton II, Maurica, Darrien, Isabella, Melina, Heath, Austin and Andy Singleton; great-grandchildren Trentliegh Spangler, Lauren White, Jailyn Wilder, Emily and Elizabeth Brown, Keyen Hudson, Rylee and Adlee Singleton. Also surviving is his brother-in-law Clarence Edwards, nieces Kay (Frenchie) Boudreau and Connie (Bill) Shannon and friend Nick Michas who has been closer than a brother and many friends.

Funeral Services will be held on
Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at Bethel Memorial Church in Princeton with the Pastor Kevin Wilson officiating. Burial will be at the Walnut Hill Cemetery in Ft. Branch, IN. Visitation will be from 1:00 until 2 P.M. on Tuesday at the church. Colvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
