Donald Ray McDowell, 66, passed away on Wednesday January 20, 2010 at his home in Oakland City. He retired in 1983 from the U.S. Airforce and later worked at Lockheed Martin as an airplane mechanic. He was a member of the Eagles and American Legion #256 of Oakland City and was a life member of the American Legion #25 in Princeton. He attended the Oakland City Nazarene Church.

December 21, 1943 in Oakland City, In. to Thomas & Marjorie (Blevins) McDowell, both deceased.

Donald is survived by his wife of 12 years, Marcheta (Rasmussen) McDowell of Oakland City; children, Donnell (Pete) Nadeau and Jeremy McDowell both of
Panama City, FL, Andrew Pinard of Ft. Branch and Sara Nafei of Oakland City; 5 grandchildren; brother, Tony (Carol) McDowell of Oakland City; and a nephew, Clint McDowell.

The family will have a memorial service on Sunday, January 24, 2010 at 2 P.M. at Oakland City Nazarene Church with Rev. Darin Nossett officiating. There will be no visitation. Corn-Colvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
