Marcille Dedman,  72, of Evansville, passed Saturday, Feb. 13, 2010 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville.

Born June 3, 1937 in Pike County, she was the daughter of Claude and Lena (Winget) Bottoms.

She was employed at Potter & Brumfield, Utley Soft Serve, Public Service Indiana, Oakland City Plastic, Pantry and with Dale Grinstead.

She was a member of the First General Baptist Church in Oakland City and Naval Mail Service Veterans Association.

Survivors include her husband of eight years, John Dedman; daughter, Cindy Sermersheim of Oakland City; sons,       Roger (Robin) Sermersheim of Oakland City, Rick N. McKinney of Evansville, David (Joan) Dedman of Ashburn, Va., Darren (Becky) Dedman of Noblesville; grandchildren, Duane Whiting, Dee Ann Gilmore, Lara McKinney, Ryan, Regan and Randa Sermersheim, Andrew Young, Steven Ellis, Grant, Zachary, Derek and Wesley Dedman; and three  great- grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Imogene Nelson, Doris Bottoms;  and husband, Harry McKinney in July 2000.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2010 at Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel in Oakland City, with the Rev. Terryl Almond officiating. Burial will follow in Montgomery Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and from 8 a.m. until the service hour on Wednesday.
