June A.  (Hillman) Perry, 84, passed away Tuesday Feb. 9, 2010 at the River Oaks Health Campus in Princeton

She was born May 16, 1925 in Princeton to Rudolph and Helen (Birkofer) Hillman. 

She was a homemaker for many years but in her later years she went to work as a Sales Clerk for Danner’s 3D Department Store in Princeton and then for Smith Jewelry and the I.G.A. grocery store.

 She lived in Princeton all of her life.  She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church where she served as a eucharistic minister for many years.  She was a member of the Daughters of Isabella and the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary.  She loved to sew, work in the garden, be with her grandchildren and go out to eat with her family and friends

 June is survived by her children, David (Carol) Perry, Janet (Ronnie) Dill, Phillip (Vicki) Perry, Julie (Stan) Curtice and Joyce (Kelly) Deffendall all of Princeton, Thomas Perry, Jane Ann (Chuck) Nelson both of Terre Haute; 21 grandchildren, Jeff, Diana, Kelley, Denise, Ronnie Jr., Randy, Elvis, Nicole, April, Shelby, Cheri, Carri, Cassi, Abby, Jamie, Schyler, Mallory, Allison, Richard, Blake, Bailey; and 22 great-grandchildren.

 She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Perry in 1988, a daughter, Jennifer Perry in 2006; two  sons, James C. Perry and Patrick A. Perry; three sisters; and a brother.

 A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 13, 2010 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Princeton with Father Ronald Zgunda officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Joseph Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Friday at Colvin Funeral Home. A Rosary will be prayed at 7:30 p.m. Friday led by the Daughters of Isabella .
