Paul D. Spurgeon, 67, passed away on Monday February 1, 2010 at The Waters in Princeton, IN. He was a Union Pipe Fitter Local #136 for 30 years. He was an avid golf player.

He was born on October 6, 1942 in Oakland City, In. to Elmer Paul and Ethel (Hale) Spurgeon, both deceased. Also preceding him in death was his brother, Robert S. Spurgeon.

Paul is survived by his wife, Brenda (Barrett) Spurgeon of Princeton; 2 children, Shauna Leathco of Henderson, KY. and Paul W. Spurgeon of Newburgh; 2 grandchildren, Jonathan and Tyler Greer; a great grandchild, Lincoln Greer; 2 brothers, Larry Spurgeon of Wabash, IN and Joe (Dottie) Spurgeon of Princeton, IN; and 2 sisters, Janice Williams of Uniontown, KY and Tanya Beery of Walkerton, IN.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday February 4, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton with the Rev. Larry Meadows officiating. Burial will be at the Maple Hill Cemetery in Princeton, IN. Visitation will be from 4 until 8 P.M. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
