Beulah Mae Brown

January 20, 1925 - February 25, 2010

Former Vincennes resident Beulah Mae (Thorn) Brown, age 85, passed away peacefully in her sleep Thursday morning February 25, 2010 at California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco, CA with her son Dale William Brown at her side. Beulah was born January 20, 1925 in Vincennes to the late Omer E. and Alma Ruth (Beamon) Thorn. She was a resident of the Vincennes area for most of her life having lived also in Decker IN and Washington Township in Gibson County. Beulah worked for the Forest Dell Nursing Home in Princeton for several years. She married William Vernon Brown and he preceded her in death February 1, 2002 after which she moved to San Francisco.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Diane Stovall(husband, Ronald) of Safford, AZ and Connie Green (husband,James) of Brownstown, IL, 2 sons, Rex Brown of Blairsville, GA and Dale and Steve Jacobs of San Francisco, 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at Noon Tuesday March 2, 2010 in Gardner-Brockman Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Huntsman officiating. Following the service, she will be laid to rest next to her husband in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends are invited to visit and share memories of Beulah with the family on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until Noon at Gardner-Brockman Funeral Home 505 Main Street.
