Virginia Pauline Malone, 91 of Princeton, passed away Monday, March 1, 2010 at River Oaks Health Campus in Princeton.

She was born Dec. 3, 1918 in Johnson to Paul and Gertrude (Harmon) Woods. 

Virginia was married on March 28, 1935, on Easter Sunday, to Elgie Earl Malone at White Church in Princeton.  She worked at Potter & Brumfield for 32 years and was also was president of the International Association of Machinists for a number of years.  She was a member of the First General Baptist Church of Princeton for 72 years, where she served for many years as secretary of the Missionary Society.

Virginia is survived by her daughter, Donna Heath of Munhall, Pa.; brothers, Tom (Mazo) Woods of Indianapolis, Jack (Nila) Woods of Mendota, Ill., Bill (Anita) Woods of Omaha, Neb.; grandchildren, Jay (Gail) Blackburn of Carmel, Denise Sztuk of Naperville, Ill., Brian Heath (Kim) of Buffalo, N.Y., and Susan Heath of Munhall, Pa.; son-in-law, Jan Blackburn of Logansport; great-grandchildren, Michelle Sztuk, Jana Sztuk, Grace Blackburn, Rachel Blackburn, Sebastian Heath, Karissa Heath, Natalya Heath, Jonathan Heath, Brianna Heath, William Connor Heath, Catlyn Heath and Hanna Heath.

 She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband on Nov. 11, 1977; daughter, Deanna Rose Blackburn; sisters, May Scott, Polly Sturm, Maxine Dennis and Marlene Elpers

 Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday March 6, 2010 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, with the Rev. Jack Eberhardt officiating. Burial will be at the Oddfellows Cemetery in Princeton

Visitation will be from noon until service time on Saturday at Colvin Funeral Home.
