Ernest White, 75, of Princeton, passed away Friday, March 12, 2010 at the Deaconess Hospice Care Center in Evansville.  

Born July 29, 1934 in Wheeling, he was the son of Carson and Gillie (Whitehouse) White.

He was employed as an assembler with Chrysler Corp. He was a former member of the American Legion Post 25 of Princeton.

Survivors include his wife, Pearl Jones of  Princeton; son, Leonard White of Princeton; stepson, Billy White; daughters, Sherri Coomer of Princeton, Mary (George) White of Francisco, Teresa Polston (Mike Polston) of Princeton; sisters, Elsie Bell of Somerville, Margaret (Jim) Rector of Princeton; 13 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by  his parents; brothers, Roy Gilford, Earl, Don, Leonard and Danny White; sisters, Hazel Stewart, Levon Helsley, Inice Pollack, Irene Bates and Leonna Woods.  

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at Doyle Funeral Home,  520 S. Main St. in Princeton, 47670 with Pastor Bart Newton officiating.

Burial will take place at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Mt. Olympus.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
