Mary Elizabeth Barber, 77, passed away Thursday, April 8, 2010 at  home.

Born May 8, 1932 in St. Wendel, she was the daughter of Francis “Frank” and Mary Louise (Krietemeyer) Rexing

She married Roy Oscar Barber of Mt. Carmel, Ill. on Oct. 14, 1952.

Mary was formerly employed by CAC Micro Circuits in Princeton. She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. She attended The Academy of The Immaculate Conception in Ferdinand.

 Mary is survived by her seven children, Tonia (Mike) Bobbitt and Thecla Allen all of Mt. Carmel, Ill.; Trudy Brown and Teresa (Jay) Morgan all of Evansville; Trina (Steve) Bouldrey of Williams Hill, Ill., Tracy Shawn Barber, her caregiver of Haubstadt and Terry (Billie) Barber of Patton, Ill.; a sister, Rita Wilson of Haubstadt; 12 grandchildren; four step-grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; nine step-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Roy Oscar Barber on Oct. 3, 1976.

 A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Sts. Peter and Paul Church with Father Tony Ernst as the celebrant.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be 9 am until Mass time Saturday at the church.  Wade Funeral Home in Haubstadt is handling arrangements.
