James "Jim" Caccavalle, 70, passed away Saturday April 17, 2010 at the VNA Charlier Hospice Center.

Born Feb. 1, 1940, he was the son of Carmine and Jean (Sortico) Caccavalle.

He was an extruder operator and a member of the Dayspring Community Church. He served in the U.S. Army.

 Survivors include five daughters, Josett Suitt, Jennifer Thomas, Cindy Jones, Angela Smith, Sarah Weinzapfel; six grandchildren; and a sister, Jean Ambrosio.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

 Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Maumee Cemetery, with Scott Burr officiating. Military rites will be conducted by American Legion Post 51 and VFW 1147.
