Larry Wayne Robb, 65, passed away Tuesday, May 18, 2010 at Gibson General Hospital in Princeton

Larry was born Oct. 6, 1944 in Princeton and resided here his entire life. 

He retired from the U. S. Post Office in Princeton and also worked for many years at the former Wilkinson-Bates Lumber Co. in Princeton and was a veteran of the U. S. Navy.

Survivors include his wife, Joyce (Goodson) Robb of Princeton; a son, Wayne (Stacy) Robb of Princeton; a daughter, Stacy Rye of Mt. Carmel, Ill.; seven grandchildren, Nick (Amber), Justin, Chelsie, Austin and Jasmine Robb, Sean Taylor Adams and Katelyn Bates; a great grand-daughter, Lexis Robb; brother, Daniel Glenn (Judy) Robb of Princeton; and a sister, Connie (Bill) Wells of Marion, Ill.

 He was preceded in death by his parents, Glenn “Chick” and Eva Bell (Jones) Robb.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, May 21, 2010 at Maple Hill Cemetery in Princeton, with burial to follow. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery for the services.  V.F.W. Post 1147 will provide full military rites at the cemetery.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton.
