Don McLean, 78, of Stockport, Ohio, passed away Saturday, April 24, 2010, at home.

Born Oct. 1, 1931, in Owensville, he was the son of Paul and Mary (Johnson) McClean.

He was a Korean War veteran and a retired oil field worker.

Survivors include his wife, Irene, who he married in 1953; a daughter, Angela (Brian) Borders; two sisters, Joann Davis Fitch of Princeton, Sherry Powell of Newburgh; two brothers, Ed and Pat McLean of Illinois. six grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Hershell, two sisters, June Hoadley, Joy Hunt; three brothers, Bill, Ralph and Mike McLean. one granddaughter; and a great- granddaughter.

Funeral services were April 28 in Ohio.
