Wilma Jean Dougherty, 83, of Princeton,passed away on Tuesday, June 8, 2010 at Good Samaritan Home in Oakland City

Wilma was born Feb. 22, 1927 in Oakland City to Gilvey and Myrtle (Thompson) McDowell.

She was a member of the Friendship Christian Church in Princeton.  She lived in Princeton since 1986 moving here from Pinellas Park, Fla.

 She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Dixie Jean and Oavil Lindeman of Gwinn, Mich., Marlys Stock of Clearwater, Fla., Rebecca and Dennis Welch of Evansville; two sons and daughters-in-law, Charles L. and Cathy Marsh of Springville, Tenn., Rex and Carol Marsh of St. Petersburg, Fla.; a brother, Leo McDowell of Bloomington. 15 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard Dougherty in 1990; and a daughter, Lucinda Schultz. 

 Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday June 11, 2010 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, with Pastor Gene Siverly officiating. Burial will be at Forsythe Cemetery in Oakland City

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday and from 8 a.m. until service time on Friday at Colvin Funeral Home.
