Helen Marie Miskell, 78 passed away Friday June 18, 2010 at the River Oaks Health Campus in Princeton, She was born in Cynthiana IN May 22, 1932 to William Smith and Mary Christina (Kortea) Montgomery. She was a homemaker had lived in Princeton most of her life. She was a member of the Salvation Army Church where she was active in the Women’s Ministries. She enjoyed being around her friends and family and going to the Senior Citizens Center. He loved to write poetry and to do cross-stitch.

She is survived by 7 sons, Mark (Jerri Ann) Miskell, James "Doc" (Debbie) Miskell, Charles "Rocky" (Gail) Miskell and Brian Miskell all of Princeton, Michael Miskell of Patoka, Anthony "Tony" (Robyn) Miskell of Folsomville, IN, Steven (Star) Miskell of Ft. Branch; 4 daughters, Beatrice "Sissy" (Dave) Walters, LaSheila Miskell & Monte, Linda Myers and Tracie Miskell all of Princeton; 33 grandchildren; 42 great grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jack Doss, Sherman Miskell, Norma Miskell and Virginia (James) Ryan.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles W. Miskell in 2003; a son, Larry Miskell in 2003; 4 sisters, Mary Doss, Florence Klusmeier, Gyneth Mote, Margaret, Helfert; 2 brothers, Floyd Montgomery and Bert Montgomery; and a special friend, Pauline Dicus.

Funeral Services will be
10 a.m. Tuesday June 22, 2010 at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton with Lt. Jonathan Cooper officiating. Burial will follow in the Oddfellows Cemetery in Princeton. Visitation will be from 4until 8 p.m. Monday at the Colvin Funeral Home.
