Loretta Louise "Letty" (Perkins) Morgan, 79, of Princeton, formerly of West Terre Haute, passed away and went to meet Jesus on Monday, June 21, 2010 at River Oaks Health Campus in Princeton.

Born Sept. 13, 1930 in Hamilton, Ohio, she was the daughter of Lillian Louise (Blackburn) Perkins and James Everet Perkins.

She lived most of her life in West Terre Haute and retired as a cook for the Vigo County School Corp. after many years of service.

She was a long time member of the Sugar Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Jay and Mary Ellen Morgan of Chandler, Ariz., Dennis and Pam Morgan of Pimento; two daughters and sons-in-law, Glenda and Harold McCoy of Princeton, Mary and Danny Martin of Fort Branch; 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and three great great- grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, James Russell “Jimmy” Morgan; three sisters, Delores “Sis” Cronk, Mary “Ruth” Pearson, and Marilyn Perkins.

Funeral services will be  at 11 a.m. (eastern) Friday at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 N. Third St., West Terre Haute, with the Rev. Bob Roush officiating.

Burial will be in Bethesda Memorial Park.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday and prior to services Friday.
