Donald A.“Don” Galbraith 47 of Petersburg, passed away Friday, July 30, 2010 at Memorial Hospital in Jasper.

Born July 21, 1963 in East St. Louis, Ill., he was the son of  Ronald and Lois (Steinman) Galbraith.

Don served in the U.S. Marine Corp. and was employed at Gibco Trucking Co.

 Survivors include companion, Roberta Peter of Petersburg; parents, Ronald and Lois Galbraith of Oakland City; sons, Brandon, Ryan and Joseph Galbraith all of Columbia, South Carolina; brothers, Bill (Anita) Galbraith of Oakland City, Scott Galbraith of Mt. Carmel, Ill.; sister, Tammie (Nick) Wise of Keyesport, Ill.; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. (central) Tuesday, Aug. 3, 2010 at Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel in Oakland City with Father Ronald Zgunda officiating. Burial will be in Montgomery Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Monday and from 8 a.m.  until the service hour on Tuesday at the chapel.
