Clester E. McQueen, 75, passed away Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh

Born June 27, 1935 in Pike County, he was the son of James B. and Earline (Dawson) McQueen. 

He was retired and formerly employed at Chrysler Corp. in Evansville. He was also an iron worker and a coal miner. He was also a master mechanic and worked as a consultant in dragline erection.

 Survivors include his wife, Carol A. (Biggs) McQueen; six daughters, Lana Kington of Manitou, Ky., Nancy Branham of Evansville, Sarah Titzer of Orlando, Fla., Brenda Ennis of Coinjock, N.C., Carla Dixson of Murfreesboro, Tenn., Leah Musser of Newburgh; a sister, Louise Moore of Ashland, Ky.; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

 He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Charles E. McQueen.

 Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. (central) Friday at Walnut Hills Cemetery in Petersburg, with the Rev. Tom Deen officiating.  Burial will follow.  There will be no visitation. Corn-Colvin Funeral Home in Oakland City is handling the arrangements.
