Rosella T. Meyer, 91, of Fort Branch, IN, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 1, 2010 at the River Oaks Health Campus in Princeton, IN.

 

She was born to the late Joseph and Louise (Weiss) Will in Haubstadt, IN on Aug. 5, 1918.

 

Rosella was a retired as a cook at Holy Cross school. She was a member of the Holy Cross Catholic Church in Fort Branch, and a member of the Haubstadt D of I. She was also a member of the VFW Post 2714 Women's Aux. Rosella enjoyed her days as a cook at Holy Cross School and was an avid quilter.

 

Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by her 1st husband, Ivo A. Emge in 1958, and her 2nd husband, Paul A. Meyer, on May 21st 2010, also preceding in death are 2 sisters, Catherine Hoefling, and Henrietta Hahn, and a brother Joseph B. Will.

 

She is survived by 2 children; Carolyn (Darwin) Neufelder of Fort Branch, IN, Larry (Martha) Emge of Martinsville, IN, 2 sisters; Mary Symer of Niles, IL, Clotilda (Boots) Kozlowski of Evansville, IN, 4 grandchildren; Beth Ann Lepp, Leah Ferrand, Dana George, and Ryan Neufelder, and 8 great grandchildren.

 

A mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, Aug. 5, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. at the Holy Cross Catholic Church in Fort Branch, IN, Father Tony Ernst will be the celebrant, with burial in the church cemetery.

 

Visitation will be on Wednesday, Aug. 4, 2010 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Stodghill Funeral Home located on Hwy. 168 West in Fort Branch, IN, a rosary will be recited by the church parish at 7:30 P.M. that same evening.
