Rayetta Ann Terry, 63, went to be with the Lord, Friday Aug. 27, 2010 at home surrounded by her family and good friends.

She was born March 31, 1947 in Princeton, the daughter of Raymond and Pearl (Davis) Jones.

She worked was a nurses aide for many years taking care of the elderly and working in the OB department at Gibson General Hospital, helping to deliver and care for many babies. She received much enjoyment and satisfaction from her work. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and friend to everyone she met. She spent the last 46 years with the love of her life, her husband Jerry. The love shared between them was beyond amazing.

Her survivors include her husband Jerry; daughter, Angie (Daniel) Sumner; sons, Brian (Patty) Terry and Daniel Terry all of Princeton; grandchildren, Shannon (John) Loeffler, Nathaniel (Amanda) Sumner, Zachariah (Christina) Sumner, Jeremy (Mary-Margaret) Christian, Talia (Jake) Harner, Brian Christopher Terry, Bradley Logan Terry; great-grandchildren, Makayla, Makenzie and Jacob Loeffler, Wyatt and Adaline Sumner, Alexis Sumner and Tristan Christian; brother, Robert (Anita) Davis of Princeton; many good friends including special friend of 39 years, Sandy Patterson; several nieces, nephews and cousins

She was preceded in death by her parents; her grandparents, George and Isabelle Grace Jones and Sam and Kate Davis.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday Aug. 31, 2010 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, with Pastor Jonathan Scott officiating. Burial will follow in the White Church Cemetery in Princeton.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
