Betty J. Davidson, 83 of Princeton, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2010 at Deaconess Hospice Care Center in Evansville

She was born June 30, 1927 in Princeton to H. Otis and Edith Hulet.

She resided here her entire life.  Betty graduated from Princeton High School-class of 1945.  She retired as a teller from Farmers National Bank.  She was a member of Hillside United Methodist Church in Princeton.  She was also a member of the Order of Eastern Star-Chapter 176, American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Post 25., Psi Ota Xi Sorority, and was a life and active member of the Republican Party. Betty was an avid bridge player. 

 She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Becky and Paul McDaniel of Princeton; six grandchildren, Reina (Rob) Krieg, Kelly Memmer, Rhonda Coomer (Kemer Reinhart), Rachael (Jim) Stoll, Amy (Mitch) Ellis and Emily (Elliot) Dawson; nine great grandchildren; and a brother, Charles Watkins of Princeton.

 She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bill R. Davidson in 2005; and her son, William Roger Davidson in 1980.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 1, 2010 at Hillside United Methodist Church in Princeton, with the Rev. Craig Duke officiating. Burial will be at the Oddfellows Cemetery in Princeton

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton and from 11 a.m. until service time on Friday at the church.
