Kenneth W. Odom, 72, of Haubstadt, passed away Thursday, Sept. 30, 2010 at home.

Born Oct. 2, 1937 in Morganfield, Ky., he was the son of Paul R. and Lillian (Logsdon) Odom.

He a U.S. Marine Corp veteran and a member of the River Cities Detachment 1090. He was also a member of the Daniel Boone Gun Club, the Princeton Bowling Association., and the Fort Branch Alumni Association. He worked in maintenance at the Emge Meat Packing Co., the Excel Corp., and Holy Redeemer Parish.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy (Meyer) Odom of Haubstadt; two sons, Christopher W. (Debbie) Odom of Evansville, Gregory W.(Trenny) Odom of Evansville; six brothers and sisters, Bonnie Young of Princeton, Raymond Odom of South Carolina, Jerry Odom of Ft. Wayne,  Roger Odom of Florida, Diana Blackgrave of Holland, Mark Odom of Arizona; and two 2 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and three brothers, Andy, Ozzie and Martin Odom.

Funeral services were at 7 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 3, 2010 at Stodghill Funeral Home in Fort Branch with Father Tony Ernst and Father Paul Fergusen will officiating. Military services will be conducted by the River Cities Detachment 1090.

Visitation was 1-7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
