Judy Rae Gordon, 69, of FortBranch, passed away Monday, Oct. 25, 2010 at home.
Born May 30, 1941 at GibsonGeneralHospital in Princeton, she was the daughter of Raymond and Velma (Clem) Kuester.
Judy was a graduate of FortBranchHigh School, and graduated from the University of Evansville with a masters degree in elementary education .
She taught in the South Gibson School Corp. at MarletteSchool, and FortBranchCommunitySchool for 31 years. Judy was a member of the Alpha Omicron Pi sorority, Delta
Kappa Gamma, and the Fort Branch Eastern Star.
Survivors include her husband, Paul Gordon
of FortBranch; two daughters and their spouses, Michele (Todd) Denny of New Albany,
Heather (Rich) Comer of Georgetown; her mother, Velma Kuester
of FortBranch; and two grandchildren, Lauren and Brooke Comer.
She was preceded in death by a son, John
Paul Gordon; and her father, Raymond J. Kuester.
Funeral services will be at Friday, Oct. 29, 2010 atStodghill
Funeral Home on Ind. 168 West in FortBranch, with Pastor John Heumann
Burial will be in St.LucasCemetery in FortBranch.
Visitation will be Thursday, Oct. 28, 2010 at the funeral home and again from until the service hour on Friday at the funeral
