Judy Rae Gordon, 69, of Fort Branch, passed away Monday, Oct. 25, 2010 at home.

Born May 30, 1941 at Gibson General Hospital in Princeton, she was the daughter of Raymond and Velma (Clem) Kuester.

Judy was a graduate of Fort Branch High School, and graduated from the University of Evansville with a masters degree in elementary education . She taught in the South Gibson School Corp. at Marlette School, and Fort Branch Community School for 31 years. Judy was a member of the Alpha Omicron Pi sorority, Delta Kappa Gamma, and the Fort Branch Eastern Star.

Survivors include her husband, Paul Gordon of Fort Branch; two daughters and their spouses, Michele (Todd) Denny of New Albany, Heather (Rich) Comer of Georgetown; her mother, Velma Kuester of Fort Branch; and two grandchildren, Lauren and Brooke Comer.

She was preceded in death by a son, John Paul Gordon; and her father, Raymond J. Kuester.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 29, 2010 at  Stodghill Funeral Home on Ind. 168 West in Fort Branch, with Pastor John Heumann officiating.

Burial will be in St. Lucas Cemetery in Fort Branch.

Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 28, 2010 at the funeral home and again from 9 a.m. until the service hour on Friday at the funeral home.
