Mary A. Riley, 74, of Francisco, passed away Friday, Oct. 8, 2010 at the River Oaks Health Campus in Princeton.

Born Jan. 7, 1936 in Haubstadt, she was the daughter of Andrew and Geneveve (Martin) Hasenour.

Mary was a member of the St. Bernard Catholic Church in Snake Run. She was the valedictorian of the class of 1954 at Haubstadt High School.

Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Jerry Riley of Francisco; a son, Brian D. Riley of Francisco; three sisters, Betty Ralph of Evansville,  Linda Wagner of Chandler, Nancy Wagner of Chandler;  three grandchildren, Jamie R. VanDeWalle, Matthew J. Riley, Jennifer M. Riley; six great -grandchildren, Camielle and James Augustive VanDeWalle, Kristin and Elaina Riley, Desiree and Delainie Phillips.

She is preceded in death by her parents; a son, James L. Riley in 1979; a daughter, Sherry Lynn Riley in 1965; a brother, Danny Hasenour; and a sister, Susan Hasenour.

A mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 11, 2010 at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Snake Run with Father Tony Ernst as the celebrant. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Visitation was 3-8 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 10, 2010 at Stodghill Funeral Home on Ind. 168 West in Fort Branch and again from 9-9:40 a.m. on Monday at the funeral home.

A Rosary was recited at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home Sunday.
