Robert J. Aydelott, 85 of Winslow, passed away Thursday, Nov. 18, 2010at Memorial Hospital in Jasper.

Born Dec. 14, 1924 in Gibson County, he was the son of Charles and Amy (Johnson) Aydelott.

He retired from Whirlpool Corp. after 24 years of service and was a member of  F&A.M. Masonic Lodge 200 in Winslow. He was also was Navy veteran serving during WW 11.

Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Eva Pauline Aydelott.daughter, Vicki (Dave) Loveless of Winslow; son, Gary (Carolyn) Aydelott of Oakland City; brothers, Richard Aydelott of Evansville, Ray Aydelott of Kentucky; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; Corbin Hoffman, Kaden Davis;  and two step-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. (central) Monday, Nov. 22, 2010 at Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel in Oakland City with the Rev. Fred Brittain officiating. Burial will be in Spurgeon Cemetery. 

Visitation was 4-8 p.m. Sunday at the Chapel and from 8 a.m. until the service hour on Monday. 

Winslow Masonic Lodge 200 will conducted memorial services at 6 p.m. Sunday.
