Vincent Junior Fullerton, 83, of Evansville went to be with our Lord and Savior on Tuesday,
Nov. 23, 2010.
Born May 18, 1927 in McLeansboro, Ill., he was the son of Vincent P. and Nora E.
Vincent attended McLeansboroHigh School and served in the U.S. Army. Upon his return, he attended LockyearBusinessCollege and worked at Servel,
George Koch Sons and Whirlpool Corp. for more than 30 years. He later
attended IvyTechCollege and became the owner/operator of Fullertonís Transmissions in Cynthiana.
Vincent truly loved the Lord Jesus Christ,
serving as pastor of AntiochMemorialBaptistChurch for nearly 35 years. He later became a member
of North ParkBaptistChurch in Evansville.
Vincent is survived by his wife of 60 years,
Loretta Mae (Hardin) Fullerton; daughters, Kathy Charlton of Ohio, Marilyn
Hedrick and husband Phil of Evansville, Vicki Davis of Cynthiana; son, Charles
Fullerton and wife Shawn of Fort Branch; his only sister, Justena
Hodge of Mt. Vernon, Ill.; 15 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents,
Vincent P. and Nora E. (Robertson) Fullerton; and a granddaughter, Eve Hedrick.
Funeral services will be at Saturday at Ziemer Funeral
Home North Chapel, 6300 N. First Ave., Evansville. with Rev. Art
Christmas and Rev. Dan Sigler officiating. Burial with military rites will be
at LibertyCemetery in Cynthiana.
Visitation will be from Friday, Nov. 26, 2010 at the funeral home.
