Delores J. Holder, 74, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2010 at Gibson General Hospital Skilled Nursing Facility in Princeton.  

She was born June 24, 1936 in Lawrence County, Ill. to Curtis and Alfa Hamilton.

She resided in Gibson County for the past 30 years. She formerly lived in Bridgeport, Ill. Delores worked for Gibson General Hospital as a CNA for many years.  She then became a home health aid before retiring.

 Surviving her are her children, Dale Holder of Henderson, Ky., Gerald (Janet) Holder of Princeton, Dawnette (Terry) Goodwin of Oaktown; four brothers, Jim (Debbie) Hamilton of McLeansboro, Ill., Gene (Wanda) Hamilton, Jack Hamilton and John Hamilton all of Bridgeport, Ill.; a sister, Star Starkey of Bridgeport, Ill.; eight grandchildren, Billy Holder of Flora, Ill., Riley Holder of Tunnel Hill, Ill., Alex, Tyler and Grant Holder all of Princeton, Brittley, Kaylee and Icelyn Goodwin all of Bicknell; eight great-grandchildren; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Donald Wayne Holder in 1991; a brother, Clarence Hamilton; a sister, Connie Royalty and a son, Mark Holder.

 Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 5, 2010 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, with the Rev. Brian Cook officiating.  Burial will be at Maple Hill Cemetery in Princeton.  

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the service hour on Friday at Colvin Funeral Home.
