George Raymond Mills, 69, passed away Monday, Nov. 15, 2010 at home.

Born April 12, 1941 in Wadesville, he was the son of Earl and Josephine (Burkett) Mills.

He graduated from Cynthiana High School in 1959.

Survivors include three sons, Walter Ray Mills of Newburgh, Dennis Allen Mills of Owensville, Eric Earl Mills of Evansville; three daughters, Susan Marie Woods of Hazleton, Patricia Louise Whitman of Evansville, Stephanie Regina Mills of Owensville; three brothers, Arthur “Pete” Mills of Griffin, Norman “Skip” Mills of Griffin, William “Bill” Mills of Evansville; two sisters,  Alice Meyers of Crawford County, Dessie Winkleman of Evansville; and six grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 22, 2010 at Werry Funeral Home, Cynthiana Chapel with the Rev. Scott Burr officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery. 

Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. until the service hour Monday at the funeral home.
