Barbara Ruth Stiles, 76, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2010 at The Waters of Princeton. 

Born Sept. 29, 1934 in Monroe City, she was the daughter of Herman and Miriam Doris (Coonce) Elliott.

She was a homemaker and loving wife to Harold Richard Stiles.  She was a member of the Hazleton United Methodist Church for many years. 

Survivors include sons, Michael Richard Stiles of Clyde, N.C., Jim Stiles of Princeton; daughter, Patty (Tim) Fetcher of Mt. Olympus; brother, Dan (Lily) Elliott of Mt Vernon, Ind.; sister, Carolyn (Charles) Pearson of Mt Carmel, Ill.; grandchildren, Brandy (Ryan) Witzel of Princeton, Nicholas (Misty) Kolb of Lawrenceville, Ga, Abby (Dan) Altoff of Las Vegas, Nev., Gunner Stiles of Vincennes, Michael Stiles of Deluth, Ga, Mandy Stiles of Princeton, James Michael (Jill) Stiles of Zionsville, Erin Stiles of West Lafayette; and eight great-grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Richard Stiles on March 16, 2002.

Cremation will take place and there will be a memorial service at 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 13, 2010 at the Hazleton United Methodist Church, 114 S. Main St. in Hazleton.
