Elizabeth Ann Armstrong, 71, of Owensville, passed away Thursday, Dec. 2, 2010 at The Waters in Princeton.

 She was the daughter of Daniel Timothy Armstrong, an American soldier killed in March 1945 in Germany, and Marjorie Etta (Riley) Armstrong. Elizabeth was one of two children, her brother Charles Ivan Armstrong, along with her parents, preceded her in death.

Elizabeth was a homemaker who enjoyed filling her home with music by playing her piano and accordion.

 Survivors include a son, Tim Armstrong and his wife, Staci; and granddaughters, Megan (Adryan) Cooper and Hannah Armstrong. They were the highlights of her life and her love for them was boundless.

 She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Pat Armstrong; step-sisters, Joann Barrett,  Linda Head; step-brothers, Owen and Ronald Creek; aunts, Pauline Jaquess, Betty (Bob) Mayer, Loraine Self; several cousins.

Step-father, Hansell Creek as well as her nephew Errol Armstrong also preceded her in death.

 The family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff at The Waters and Southern Care Hospice, especially Lori White.

 Funeral services were at 3 p.m. Sunday at Holders Funeral Home in Owensville with Pastor Kirk Horstmeyer officiating. Burial was in the Owensville Cemetery.

 Visitation was noon until the service hour at the funeral home.
