Geraldine McIntire Camp, 86, went home to be with her Lord Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2010 at St. Anne Nursing Home, Fort Wayne.

She was born July 17, 1924 in Gibson County

She worked at Fort Branch Mill and Elevator for 17 years  and then was employed as treasurer of North Gibson School Corp. for 20 years, retiring in 1987.

She was a member of Fort Branch General Baptist Church, but attended North Haven General Baptist in Evansville for a number of years until moving to Fort Wayne.

Survivors include her sister, Edna Lois Gwaltney of Fort Wayne; nieces, Marilyn Barnes of Colorado; Cheryl Sedlmeyer and Nancy Glenn, both of Fort Wayne; and nephew, Larry Gwaltney of Florida. 

She was preceded in death by her brother, Carl McIntire;  parents, Walter and Octavia McIntire; husband, George Camp; and also a special friend that cared for her, Fred Stone.

Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2010 at Stodghill Funeral Home on Ind. 168 in Fort Branch with the Rev. Steve Akins officiating. Burial  will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 9-11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2010 at Stodghill Funeral Home in Fort Branch.
