Harold W. Johnson, 92, passed away Tuesday at Transcendent Healthcare of Owensville.

Born Dec. 27, 1917 in Gibson County, he was the son of Alexander and Pearl ( Horath) Johnson.

He was a farmer and owned a grocery store at Upper Hills.

Survivors include a daughter, Virgie Penner; sons, Darwin and Deon Johnson; sisters, Imogene Glover, Marcia Williams; a brother, Joe Johnson; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Kenneth, Owen and Nolan Johnson.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Maumee Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon until the service hour at Holders Funeral Home in Owensville.
