Garnette R. Loveless, 67 passed away Sunday Dec. 19, 2010 at the Daviess Community Hospital in Washington.

Born July 31, 1943 in Pike County, she was the daughter of Ibran and Wilma (Lydon) Charles. 

She was a homemaker and lived in Glezen all of her life.

 Survivors include two sons, Rodney Loveless of Glezen, Chris (fiancé Amy Howell) Loveless of Petersburg; two daughters, Lora (Terry) Hurst of Petersburg, Alethea (Darren) Dedrick of Glezen; a brother, Elbert Charles of Petersburg; eight grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.

 She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Owen Franklin “Nig” Loveless in 2005; and an infant sister, Agatha Mae Charles.

 Funeral services will be 10 a.m. (central) Thursday, Dec. 23, 2010 at Corn-Colvin Funeral Home in Oakland City with Rev. Keith Jenkins officiating.  Burial will follow at Walnut Hills Cemetery in Petersburg. 

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. (central) Wednesday and from 8 a.m. until the service hour on Thursday at the Corn-Colvin Funeral Home.
