Marie Muncie, 89 of Princeton, passed away Thursday, Dec. 30, 2010 at Gibson General Hospital Skilled Nursing Facility in Princeton

 Marie was born Sept. 21, 1921 in Owensville, to Alonso and Vera (Armstrong) Cox.

Marie was retired as co-owner, with her husband Rex, of the Muncie Music Store in Princeton.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Princeton.  She was a former member of the Pink Ladies Auxiliary at Gibson General Hospital, Retail Merchants Association and the Business and Professional Women’s Organization.

 She is survived by her three daughters and sons-in-law, Gayle and Pat Finney of Haubstadt, Karen and David A. Douglas of Oakland City, Lynn and Mark Ellis of Hazleton; sister, Eleanor Hill of Villa Rica, Ga.; six grandchildren, Cosmo Finney, Tyla Rogers, Ryan Finney, Malea Wolfe, Michelle Davidson, Chad Ellis; 14 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and a special roommate at Gibson General Hospital Skilled Nursing Facility, Rena Wilkerson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Rex Muncie in 1998. 

 Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2011 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, with Pastor George Prinzing officiating. Burial will be at the Maple Hill Cemetery in Princeton

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Monday at Colvin Funeral Home.
