Princeton, Indiana newspaper dated Wednesday, September 8, 1909

The death of William N. Flinn, an aged and almost lifelong resident of Gibson County occurred Tuesday evening at 7:30 o'clock at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Daniel Elsfelder at 117 west Ohio Street.

He was 81 years of age and death was due to the infirmities of his advanced years. The deceased was well known throughout the county and was held in high esteem as a citizen.

Four children survive. They are Mrs. David Braselton of Patoka; Mrs. Polly Smith of Danville, Ill.; Vincent Flinn of Oklahoma, and Mrs. Elsfelder of this city.

The funeral will be held at White Church Thursday morning at 10 o'clock, and the interment will be in the cemetery there.

His Record of Death, Gibson County Health Department Book 2, Page 14 has his birth date as March 3, 1828 and his death date as September 7, 1909; his father as Perkin Flinn, born in KY, and his mother as Serepta Colvin Flinn born in Indiana.

It also has his middle initial as 'M'
