OWENSVILLE, Ind., March 13

 

Pleas G. Selby, a well known and highly esteemed resident of Owensville, died at his home here at 6:15 o’clock this morning. He was 46 years of age.  Mr. Selby had been in failing health for a year and had been bed-ridden for the past ? weeks.

 

A private funeral service will be held at the home at 10 o’clock Saturday morning, conducted by Rev. Ragle of the Methodist Church. The body will then be taken to Evansville for burial in Oak Hill cemetery.

 

Surviving are the wife and a son Robert, also the parents, Mr. and Mrs. Sylvester Selby, of Owensville.

 

The son, Robert, is ill with scarlet fever, and for that reason the family of the deceased cannot leave quarantine to attend the service at the cemetery.

 

Mr. Selby was a member of the Methodist church. He also was a member of the Odd Fellows, Knights of Pythias and the Modern Woodsmen. He had many friends over the county who will learn with sorrow of his death.
