Mrs. Little Lockett

     Dies at Age of 98

 

     Mrs. Littie Lockett, formerly a well

known colored resident of Gibson

county, died in Indianapolis last Friday

morning of Bright’s disease.  She

was 98 years of age.

     The body was brought to the Pfohl

Funeral home here this morning and the

funeral service held at 2 o’clock

this afternoon at the Olive Branch

Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev.

Dallam and the Rev. Hill.  Burial was

in Patoka cemetery.

     Surviving are three sons, Fred, of

Indianapolis, Felix of Haynes, N.D.

and Parker of Lawrenceville, Ill.  Fifteen

grandchildren and two great

grandchildren survive, also a number

of nieces and nephews.
