FORMER RESIDENT DIES AT WASHINGTON

Mrs. Mary Ann Raney, 74, wife of Francis A. Raney, and former resident of Princeton, died at Washington, Ind., at 3:30 o’clock Saturday afternoon and the body was brought last night to the home of Mrs. Ralph Whitten in the B.M.A.  Mrs. Raney had been ill two years.

Funeral services will be held at 9 o’clock Tuesday morning at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in charge of the Rev. Fr. N.A. Hassel. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. cemetery.

Surviving are: the husband, Francis A. Raney of Washington; a son, John Raney, of  Princeton; two step-sons, William H. Raney of Princeton; and Charles Raney, of Washington; a step-daughter, Mrs. Willard Grove, of Washington; three grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Fannie Reneengerger (sp. hard to read); a brother, John Ramsey, of Greeley, Kans.

Mrs. Raney was born in Wisconsin, January 7, 1859. She resided in Princeton several years, going to Washington a number of years ago. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic church at Washington.

Washington, Ind., were held at 9 o’clock Tuesday morning at the St. Joseph’s Catholic church, with the Rev. Fr. N.A. Hassel in charge.  Interment in the I.O.O.F. cemetery.
