CYNTHIANA RESIDENT DIES AFTER LINGERING ILLNESS

William H. Ackman, 77, well known Smith township resident died at his home in Cynthiana Tuesday (19 Nov 1935) morning after a long illness.  The deceased was a member of a pioneer Posey county family.

Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at the Primitive Baptist church in Cynthiana and burial will be in the new Mt. Moriah cemetery.

Surviving are his wife, Alice; a daughter, Mrs. Irwin Montgomery, Haubstadt; a son, Walter, Madisonville, Ky., a sister, Miss Amanda Ackman and a brother, Rufus of Cynthiana
