Hugh G. Smith

OAKLAND CITY, Dec. 23 - Hugh G. Smith, age 81, died at his home in Somerville Saturday afternoon at 4:30 o’clock of a complication of diseases, following an illness of several weeks.

Funeral services were held this afternoon at 1:30 o’clock at Forsythe church, southwest of here, conducted by the Rev. Jesse Hall. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Surviving are the widow, Sophia; three sons, Jesse, Ed and Joe Smith, all at home; and a daughter, Mrs. Emma Winslow, of Somerville.
