SAMUEL W BINKLEY

Samuel W. Binkley, 94, died at the home of his son, Fred Binkley, five miles south of Princeton on highway 41, at 7:15 o'clock this morning.  He was a retired farmer and thresherman.

 

Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the Colvin & Son chapel, with Rev. Grover Kreig and Rev. W. S. Brandenberg officiating.  Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. cemetery.

 

Mr. Binkley was born at King Station August 29, 1850 and had lived in Gibson county and Princeton all of his life.  He was a member of the Cumberland church of Owensville.

 

Surviving are two sons, Fred at whose home he died, and Charles G. Binkley of Albuquerque, N. Mex.; one daughter, Mrs. A. F. Schmicker, of Princeton; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

 

The body will remain at the Colvin mortuary where friends may call after 1 o'clock Friday afternoon.
